How many of you use mobile to check regular updates on our main site ?
Soon, we'll be launching a mobile version of our main site which supports iphone, android phones, windows OS and all major mobile models.
It will be available for all major mobile platforms. iOS, Android, Windows Phone and HTML5.
Also, an android app will be released in 1-2 months, through which you can automatically recieve updates on our main site.
In the past our team has tried to setup SMS channel subscriptions but thats an outdated model.
since majority of smart phones in the market run on android, an app will do the job easily
it will have a small logo like the photo we have right now for our facebook page, so something like this below

once mobile site and android app are ready, they'll be announced in this topic.

i always use my android phone to check websites.i also want to request you to make this site to be available on tapatalk forum apk.tapatalk is an app for android phones, with that we can see all the forums which are inked to tapatalk.you need tapatalk plugin in to activate it and its completely free. as of now phpBB3 3.x, vBulletin 3.6 to 4.x, xenForo, IPBoard 3.x, SMF 1.1.11+/2.x, MyBB 1.4/1.6, bbPress 1.1/2.0 and Kunena 1.6+ are supported. Other forum system might also support Tapatalk with plugins developed by third party developers using Tapatalk API.

iphone and android app for main site will be available from next month.
need to test them thoroughly as there is one plugin available which converts site into apps for all types of smart phones.

but now our forum is accessible through any mobile, or through tapatalk (you can use this app on android, iphone, blackberry, ipad, chrome)
if you use any of the above phones, try our forum through tapatalk app

@ johnniewalker, thanks for uploading screenshots

main site's mobile version is ready and i've tested it on android phone.
site loads with chiru's logo pic and site name, next to it is menu.
below the logo, you can see latest updates on site.

for faster loading images are disabled on home page.
you can click on news item or drop down link next to news title to load image and then proceed to read the entire post.

Its loading really fast on 3G and fast enough on 2G speeds.

If someone is using iphone , windows OS phones or nokia smart phones, plz test the main site http://www.chiranjeeviblog.com and post your feedback here.

This mobile version is to read the latest updates quickly without consuming more bandwidth and in lesser time.

APPs for android and IOS are tough to make without sponsored ads from 3rd party (which are manytimes annoying).
So we settled for this version now

Thanks for the update.

Its working on Iphone.

Was wondering why I am unable to read the entire heading of a topic.
Could the Header be Wrapped.

Also I don think the Tags are necessary, they are filling up the webpage entirely.

Thanks

default settings were heading truncated and tags shown on home page.
now full heading is displayed and tags removed.
also post can be shared via twitter, facebook etc using the share buttons at the bottom of each post/page
