Naayak movie review, Nayak movie review, Nayak review, Naayak review, ram charan Nayak movie review, ram charan Naayak movie review, Nayak telugu movie review, Naayak telugu movie review, Nayak reviews: Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has teamed up with director dynamic director VV Vinayak for the first time for 'Nayak'. Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul are romancing Ram Charan in this mass entertainer. DVV Danayya has produced the movie on Universal media banner. TeluguOne.com exclusively brings you 'Nayak' movie review first on net for our readers. Read on.

Story:

Charan aka Cherry (Ram Charan) is a happy go lucky guy who falls for Madhu(Kajal Aggarwal) at the first sight in an interesting situation. Mean while, a series of killings will rock Hyderabad and the CBI starts suspecting Cherry. When police traps Cherry at Haridwar, here comes a twist to the tale. What is it? What made CBI to leave Cherry forms the rest of the story.

Analysis :

The first half of 'Nayak' is laced with ample comedy tracks and  wonderful dance movements. Precisely, it is a gripping first half with hilarious episodes between Ram Charan, Brahmanandam. MS Narayana and Jaya Prakash Reddy too joins the bandwagon and makes it more humorous. The movie goes at a fast pace and the interval bang gets interesting with a fantastic twist which will make the fans of Ram Charan frenzy.

The second half is the soul of the film and the flash back episode has been shot very well. The high voltage action episodes backed by Ram Charan's power packed histrionics and dialogue delivery reminds you of Chiranjeevi and is a delight for the audience. However, the tempo goes a bit down and catches the pace when Posani enters the scene. Apparently, Posani has taken the center stage and provides comic relief everywhere he appears in this hour. The scene where Charan's men bashes the goons and offers them a chocolate is the highlight of the second half. All the songs are visually good onscreen and precisely, the three songs, Subhaleka Rasukunna, Yevvaramante, Hey Nayak that comes in the second half deserves special mention.

Overall, 'Nayak' is perfect film laced with comedy, power packed action, amazing dance movements and beautifully shot songs. It has all the ingredients of a commercial movie and is likely to set box office on fire.

TeluguOne Perspective:

Director VV Vinayak who is capable of delivering potential mass entertainers is back in the league with 'Nayak'. He has taken utmost care on the script and successfully used Ram Charan's mass image to the hilt. Though the story is old, the narration has made it look fresh and gripping. Nayak is going to be a surprise package for the audience and a perfect entertainer for this pongal. Emotions abound the script and touches the heart in couple of places like the human mafia and in the flash back. Though, there is  lot of action in the second half it wont necessarily be an obstacle for the audience to enjoy it. With Nayak, Ram Charan is going to give stiff competition to Stylish Star Allu Arjun, the best dancer of Tollywood, in dances. This pongal starts with a bang in the form of 'Nayak' and has all the chances to become a winner at box office.

Performances:

Ram Charan has acted with ease and carried the movie on his shoulders. He improved a lot in comedy department and his dialogue delivery is commendable. His dances are amazing and we get to see the rock star Ram Charan in this film. Kajal as usual looks gorgeous and has a very limited role to play. Amala Paul is plump and scorches the screen in couple of songs with Ram Charan. Her performance is OK. Brahmanandam steals the show with his innocent expressions and wonderful comic timing. His steps for 'Enduko Emo' song are hilarious. Posani is impressive. Jaya Prakash Reddy, MS Narayana have played their part well and provides few smiles. Rajeev Kanakala, Pradeep Rawat, Dev Gill are decent. Others are OK.

Technicalities:

Cinematography of Chota K Naidu is excellent and his efforts are visible onscreen especially in songs. Editing by Gautam Raju is good. Choreography is amazing. Dialogues by Akula Siva are catchy and hilarious. Music and background score of Thaman is an asset to the film.

Positives:

Ram Charan's performance & dances
Comedy in the first half
Songs

Negatives:
Heavy dosage of action

Final Word: 'Nayak' is a must watch 'Mega' entertainer blended with 'Power' packed action episodes and brilliant performance of Ram Charan.

TeluguOne.com Nayak Rating: 3.5/5

Mega Power Star Ram Charan will hit the screens with ‘Naayak’ tomorrow. We have been to an exclusive premiere show held at Prasad Labs and we are bringing out the review for you well ahead of tomorrow’s release. V.V.Vinayak directed this movie and Danayya is the producer. Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul are the heroines in the film. Let us see how Naayak is.
Story :
Cherry ( Ram Charan) is a software engineer in CgTrix. He has an uncle named Jilebi (Brahmanandam), who unexpectedly runs into trouble and angers the local Don Gandipeta Babji (Rahul Dev). Cherry hatches a plan to save Jilebi from Babji and falls for Babji’s sister Madhu (Kajal) in the process.
As this is on, a series of high profile killings start taking place in Hyderabad and Kolkata. Minister Rawat (Pradeep Rawat) is targeted and Cherry finds himself taking the blame. A CBI team (led by Ashish Vidhyardhi) starts hunting for Charan and this leads to unexpected situations.
We now get to know that there is another angle to the story, involving Amala (Amala Paul). How does Cherry escape from the CBI’s clutches? Can he prove his innocence? What is the Kolkata angle? That forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points :
Ram Charan did a great job in this movie. His voice modulation is very good now. Charan is a very good dancer and this is reaffirmed yet again with Naayak. Charan’s dances in ‘Laaila o Laaila’ and ‘Hey Naayak’ are superb.
Kajal Aggarwal looks gorgeous in the movie and her scenes with Charan came out well. Amala Paul does not have too much importance in the film and her presence is limited to a few scenes and a couple of songs in the second half. But she looks great.
Brahmanandam has a meaty role as Jilebi and he entertains brilliantly. His expressions and characterization will remind you of his performance in Ravi Teja’s ‘Krishna’. Posani Krishna Murali is highly effective as a Kolkata criminal and his ‘chocolate scenes’ in the second half will leave you in splits of laughter.
M.S.Narayana is funny as a perpetually drunk CBI lip reading specialist. Jayaprakash Reddy is good as Rahul Dev’s Pedananna
The first half of the film is very good – with the right mix of comedy, action and romance. Pace is very fast and there is hardly a boring moment in the entire film. Just as the second half starts to get a little heavy on action and violence, Posani comes in and livens up the proceedings.
Songs have been shot brilliantly – especially ‘Katti lanti Pilla’, ‘Subhaleka’ and ‘Oka Choopuke Padipoya’.
Minus Points :
There is nothing much in terms of script or story and the plot will remind of you of a number of hit Telugu films. Once the twist is revealed during the interval block, you can predict the outcome. There are a few loopholes in the plot and cinematic liberties have been taken, as is the case with most masala entertainers.
The story does not move forward much in the second half and it is saved only by the high entertainment quotient. Violence is a little too graphic in the movie and it may not go down well with some sections of the audience.
Some fights are a little over the top. Climax block is not very satisfactory and it could have been handled in a much better way.
Technical Aspects :
Chota K Naidu’s cinematography is a major asset to the movie. The songs which have been shot in Iceland look spectacular. Editing is good. Dialogues have been written well, especially for the comedians. Thaman’s background score is effective.
Vinayak has a great ‘mass pulse’ and this fact is evident once again in this movie. Though there is nothing great in terms of direction or screenplay, Vinayak ensured that the film has a very high entertainment quotient with a good narration speed.
Verdict :
Naayak is a thorough entertainer. The film has some very enjoyable comedy. Good performances from Charan, Brahmanandam, Posani and M.S.Narayana give a major boost to the proceedings. On the flip side, graphic violence, a predictable script and a less than satisfactory climax spoil the flavour a bit. On the whole, Naayak is a perfect Sankranthi entertainer that has the potential to rake in lots of money at the Box Office.

Nayak Review: Cast & Crew

Director: V.V. Vinayak, Producer: D.V.V Danayya
Music: Thaman, Cinematography: Chota K. Naidu, Editing : Akula Shiva, Writer: Akula Shiva
Star Cast: Ram Charan Teja, Kajal Aggarwal, Amala Paul, Dev Gill, Brahmanandam, Jaya Prakash Reddy, M. S. Narayana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rahul Dev, Raghu Babu, Pradeep Rawat and Charmee
Genre: Mass Entertainer, Censor Rating: A, Duration: 02:30Hrs.

Story:
Charan aka Cherry (Ram Charan) is an easy going guy He falls in love with Madhu (Kajal Aggarwal) at the first sight. Meanwhile, a series of killings will rock Hyderabad and the CBI starts suspecting Cherry. When police traps Charan(Siddu) at Haridwar, here comes a twist to the tale. Watch this interesting twist on-screen. The rest of the story depicts how Cherry gets out of trouble from CBI.

Analysis of Film, Cast and Crew:

First half of the film goes on lighter note and ample comedy between Charan & Brahmanandham. Charan's dances would definitly entertain the audience. Despite not much serious content in first half, interval bang with gripping twist strikes the right chord of audience.

The second half has the flash back episode and is the soul of the film. Screenplay goes for a toss for sometime in second half. Many high-voltage action episodes, though not novel, might entertain only masses.  songs are picturised and choreographed well.

Performances:

Ram Charan did one man show in the film. His fluid dances and solid action sequences adds to the film. His dances and comedy dialogues are amazing and we get to see the rock star Ram Charan in the movie. He seems to have worked hard on his comic timing and his exchanges with Brahmanandam are easily the best part of the film. There are moments in the film when it drags but then that is offset sufficiently by its entertainment value. The visuals are neat and the music is in tune with the mood of the film.

Kajal is a treat to watch. Her glamour is another positive point for the film and has a very limited role to play.

Amala Paul is plump and scorches the screen in couple of songs with Ram Charan. Amalapual has little to do as far as performance goes and does a good job of upping the glam quotient.

Charmi item song gives high voltage josh to the mass audience. Her hot item song "Yevvaramante" also plus to the movie.

Technical Departments:

After some debacles, director V V Vinayak is back on track with this mass commercial flick. His direction is primarily a blend of mass elements & comedy. He knows how to utilize the stardom of a hero and he is 100% successfull in this film. He even used Power Star Pawan Kalyan, to some extent. Watch it on-screen for details. Screenplay is tight.

Chota K Naidu's cinematography is impressive and his efforts are visible onscreen especially in songs.Other departments like dialogues, costumes are also commendable. Editing by Gautam Raju

Art work by Anand Sai is good enough for a mass flick.

Dialogues by Akula Siva are catchy.

Choreography is amazing especially Liala o Lila song.

Taman music is good , songs are good and the background music is outstanding.,

Positives:
-Ram Charan's excellent performance & awesome dances.
-V V Vinayak's mass elements
-Background music & picturizations of songs
-Pawan Kalyan's indirect presence on screen
-Comedy in the first half with Brahmi .
-Songs picturization &Cinematography.

Negatives:
-Fights &  Villian Pradeep Rawath role
-Predictable story in second half
Songs Sequance
-Liala o Laila Song
-Oka Choopuke Padipoya
-Katthi Lanti Pilla
-Subhaleka Rasukunan Song
-Vayyaramantha nellore
-Hey Nayak

Punch Dialogues
-Power Star First Day First Show Ticket Evadikaia Dorukuthunda??
-Form lo unna leader, following unna hero ni follow kavali.
-Half Day Lo Ambani Ni Datistha
-Nyayam kosam ayudham pattina
-Nenu Edina okesari chepta rendosari champesta

Verdict/Final Point: Watch it once for one more hit (may not be blockbuster) film from Mega camp. With no other noted mass commercial film for Pongal month, this film is going to shake the box-office, especially in B, C Centers. Also, Charan would become a bigger commercial star and Vinayak gets the much needed HIT with this power-packed mass entertainer!!
