Not only are they playing pivotal roles in Apoorva Lakhia’s remake of Zanjeer, co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Ram Charan seem to be getting along like a house on fire as well.
Recently, Dutt happened to be shooting at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad when Ram Charan got wind of it. The actor promptly paid Dutt a visit. Finding Dutt in a rather pensive mood, Ram Charan proceeded to enquire, only to find out his kids, who had come over to Hyderabad to meet their dad, had taken ill possibly due to the change in climate.
Upon hearing this, Ram Charan immediately called a team of doctors from Hyderabad's most famous hospital, located approximately 40 kms away from the film city. Incidentally, Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni is the grand-daughter of Prathap C Reddy, Executive Chairman of the hospital. So, calling the experts was just a phone call away for him.
A source on the sets told Mirror: “It was a very kind gesture on Ram Charan’s part to call the team of doctors all the way from the hospital. Sanju Baba is relieved that the condition of his children has improved with the timely medication.”
When contacted, Dutt's spokesperson confirmed the story.
