Chiranjeevi’s maiden speech in Rajya sabha
Union Minister of Tourism Chiranjeevi gave a maiden speech in Rajya sabha over Telanagan bill .
He said, Being a Congressman, speaking against my own party’s decision is painful.The state can’t be divided like this causing people so much pain and negativity. He also said, BJP is trying to stall Telangana Bill.
He said, Every single party is political about Telangana.Sri Krishna Committee also said united Andhra Pradesh is the best option.The process adopted to create Telangana is very unfortunate. He Requested the House to pause and think about the life of 11 crore Telugu people.
While BJP leader, Arun Jaitley questions Chiranjeevi’s stand, asks him to resign as Union minister.Is a minister allowed to oppose a bill moved by the government and Chiranjeevi must resign if he is against his party’s line on Telangana,said Jaitley.
Chiranjeevi said, I am speaking against Telangana on behalf of people. Hyderabad is a source of livelihood for millions, it should have a union territory status, said Chiranjeevi.
