Chandamama Kathalu Movie Review
Plot :
Saarathi a widower and a writer who is an emotional father of a school going girl have some worries regarding his daughters health. He tries to open up his mind by narrating imaginative tales about people around him. 8 different individual stories are narrated and the screenplay delves in to different aspects of love as shown through 8 separate stories involving different characters.

Lakshmi Manchu plays Lisa Smith, a fading model who gets used to the expensive lifestyle which she can’t afford any more.
Amani(Saritha) who was widowed by her husband death finds a new life with Naresh(Mohan).
Krishnudu (Venkateswar rao) has no other ambition in life but just to get married before 30.
Krishneshwar rao plays a beggar who aspires to have a house worth 12 lacs.
Abhijeet ( Asraf) runs a kirana store fells in love with Richa Panai (Haseena)
Chaitanya krishna character is a boy who fells in love with his classmate in college and acts as a genuine and innocent guy but deceives her.
Naga shaurya as raghu shares with duvvasi mohan about his accidental marriage with a girl because of his grandma’s compulsion.

Though all are different stories, some stories share relationship with other and some not. All the stories are seen earlier in different movies. The narration of the movie is a bit slow and the first half is much slower than the second half. But all the 8 stories are sensibly narrated.
The movie takes inspiration from English Movie ” Love Actually ” but fails to keep the audience engaged.

Lakshmi manchu aptly suited to the role with her English.
Naresh and Amani acting are Natural
There is nothing much to talk about other character’s performance.

Technical Department:
Micky J Meyer’s songs are boring
Direction is OK.

Not for Commercial Movie Lovers, Might appeal to Class Audience. One time watch
