Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty has collected 6.18 crore nett on Wednesday at Indian box office. With this, film has collected A good amount 62.76 crore nett in six days at the domestic box office.
Film registered a good occupancy on Wednesday in both single screens and multiplexes. It has again shown normal drop yesterday from its previous days. The drop on Wednesday was approximately around 12% which is extremely less than Tuesday. At some multiplexes, the film showed little drop from Tuesday especially in Northern belt whereas it performed rock steady in single screens.
Holiday is not only holding up very well in almost all circuits but also, at some places it is doing better than Akshay’s biggest grosser till date Rowdy Rathore. The business of this film in some circuits is likely to be the highest for Akshay Kumar starring films. Holiday which has been made at the total cost of around 75 crore nett, is likely to recover its budget by the end of its 2nd weekend.
The film is now heading for a good week one total. If film will hold well today, its first week total will be around 68 crore nett which is close to the lifetime business of Khiladi 786 and Special 26 and higher than Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaraa.
