A court in Khammam on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant against Andhra Jyothi editor Vemuri Radhakrishna in connection with the defamation case against him. Responding on a petition filed by one Pusam Ravinder, the court issued the warrant.
Ravinder hails from Satyanarayanapuram village of Khammam rural mandal of Khammam district. Andhra Jyothy has published an article in the paper against Ravinder, who approached the court in 2010. Radha Krishna was supposed to attend the court , but has sent two of his lawyers on his behalf, Thus the court has issued a non bailable warrant.
In another defamation case, former Congress MLA from Madannapet constituency Kondeti Sridhara has recorded his version stating that AJ paper has carried stories to defame him which resulted in his defeat.
