Director : C.V.Rajendran
Released : 18 April 1985
Cast :
Chiranjeevi (Chiru) is the son of a sincere Police S.P(Sathyanarayana).
Chiru’s mother dies when he was a kid and his father brings him up with whatever he needs and chiru grows up to be a fun loving and jolly young man but his weakness is he cannot tolerate anyone talking bad about his father.
He falls in love with Vijayasanthi and they both go well for some time but later due to an incident, Vijayasanthi accuses chiru’s father of something and he gets mad on her and hits her.
She hits the wall and dies accidentally, Chiranjeevi realises his mistake and tries to cover up the incident as he does not want to fall low in the eyes of his father. Rest of the plot forms on the cat and mouse game between chiru as a fugitive and his father behind him not knowingly.
Bhanupriya plays the blind sister of vijayasanthi and Muralimohan her lover.
Chiranjeevi gets killed in the hands of his own father in the end.
A pretty daring attempt as an experimental movie with full of anti sentiments like hero killing heroine and hero’s father killing hero.
Though the audiences did not like the movie one should commend the dare of our chiru in this regard to do a movie like this when he was establishing himself as SUPREME HERO at the prime time of his career.
Music is pretty average with only one hit song Raaja laa velugu.
