Last film produced by Late. Maganti Ravindranath Chowdhary, directed by VijayaBapineedu, this film once again proved the box-office capacity of megastar.Film starts with Chiru’s dream as a GangLeader, punishing the culprits of the society.
Chiru plays the younger brother of the a three brother family, Raghupathi(Murali Mohan),Raghava(Sarath Kumar) and Raghava(himself).Sudha plays muralimohan’s wife and their granny, sabari(nirmalamma) and kids make their struggling, yet happy family.
Rajaram gets involved in a clash with police and his potential is noticed by DCP(Janardhan), who takes him to Ekambaram(RaoGopalRao), who offers him rowdyism under him.Rajaram rejects that offer, accuses the DCP and returns.When his brother raghava needs money for travelling expenses to appear for the IAS exam,Rajaram agrees to help a landlord get rid of Kanyakumari(Vijayasanthi).His brother gets enough money to travel and leaves the house, but kanyakumari settles in his house, gaining sympathy from his family members.
When his brother raghava needs more money for the tution fee, rajaram takes the charge of an accident done by Satyanarayana’s daughter on him for money and goes to the same jail where satyanarayana is the jailer.
Rajaram is treated well in that jail and also given keys for his cell.When Rajaram is in jail, raghupati witnesses murder of MLA , by Ekambaram’s brother and calls up DCP to inform this.Raghupati is promptly killed by goons with the help of DCP.One of Rajaram’s friends, Narayana witnesses this and also takes photographs.His friends stop him from disclosing this to rajaram.
Meanwhile raghava qualifies for IAS, and returns as sub-collector of that district.DCP settles his daughter(sumalatha)’s match with him.Rajaram returns from jail and silently witnesses the proceedings.Raghava decides to move into a new house with his family and leaves their old house for kanyakumari.DCP and his daughter try every possible method to seperate raghava from his family, but fails.Rajaram decides to run a Taxi, and earn his own living.
Narayana and his friends decide to confess everything to Home Minister(Nutan prasad) and sends him letter about MLA’s murder.This information is passed on to Ekambaram and all his friends are killed at home minister’s guest house.Narayana escapes and reveals everything to rajaram before his last breath.Furious Rajaram attacks police station and bashes up Ekambaram’s brother.He is arrested and accused of his murdering his friends.Kanyakumari helps him in escaping from court and he relaizes that she’s Ekambaram’s daughter , born from a extra-marital relationship.Rajaram moves his family out of his brother’s house and when they’re kidnapped by ekambaram, he attacks to take revenge in the similar fashion, as Raghupati was killed.He also helps kanyakumari in her revenge on ekambaram.Good foot-tapping music by Bappi lahiri, well choreographed by PrabhuDeva makes up memorable songs.
paruchuri’s Dialogues, especially Ruff aadistha mannerism by chiru was an instant hit with the crowd.Excellent cnematography by LokSingh, and great fights by Vikram Dharma are also the plus points of this movie.
