Jaatara

Jaatara, features chiranjeevi as educated yet unemployed village youth, who lives with his brother(Sridhar) and mother. He is in love with his uncle’s daughter.jatara movie reviewBhushanam(Nagabhushanam) is the village head who dictates terms in that village. He uses the name of village godes Muthyalamma talli’s name and claims that all fields in the village belong to her and everyone should work for minimal wage.
Workers expect a raise and sridhar leads then to bhushanam, but he is threatened and silenced.
Rambabu learns about this and decides to lead the workers against bhushanam.
His family needs money and everyone including bhushanam rejects to offer help and only a village belle who is madly in love with sridhar offers some money.
An oldman in the village and an ex-military man stop Rambabu from revolting and explain him to what extent bhushanam can go to maintain his power.
Bhushanam also plans and turns rambabu’s uncle against him and plans to marry off his daughter to someone else. But his daughter too joins rambabu.
In the end Rambabu plans and ends the dictatorship of bhushanam in the Jatara of Muthyalamma talli.
This was GK Venkatesh`s last Telugu movie.
