First full lenghth action movie from chiru has redefined action films and heroism in tollywood. This first major hit, silver jubilee film was inspired from the hollywood blockbuster First Blood.Suryam(chiru) works along with his widow sister in his field and studies in a college in the nearby town.His classmate madhavi falls in love with him, but later suryam realizes that she is RaoGopalrao’s daughter who gave loan to his father and is now trying to grab his land for that.
Raogopalrao realizes about his daughter’s love for suryam and misuses his power as panchayiti president and gets suryam fixed into a police case.Suryam is arrested and brought to police station, but he bashes up the police and escapes into the forest.
Then starts a chase , that never seems to end.Injured during the police shootout, suryam reaches a doctor(sumalatha)’s place to shelter.She sees his photo in newspaper, published by the police as Wanted!.But, she hides him when police searches her place.Upon realizes his story, she offers help and wanted him to stay there, till he is completely cured. But suryam, burning with vengence leaves immediately into the forest towards his village.
Madhavi not willing to settle for an arranged marriage,escapes into the jungle and meets suryam. Suryam, doesn’t want to risk her life for him, and leaves her tobe safely taken back home by police and heads towards his destination.He manages to destroy all major assets of raogopalrao and his partner nutanprasad, and also kills him, but is shot by police at the same time and dies.Well composed fights, good chase scenes in jungle wee captured by cinematographer VSR Swami, and the famous Ragulutondi mogalipoda, were the highlights of this movie.

Chiru’s action, especially in police station and at sumalatha’s house were excellent.
