Chiru(ramudu) is a poor man in a small village who sells wood from forest and is aspiring to make his brother a doctor and help the needy in the village as he witnesses many people dieing as there is no medical help, including his relatives.
He and the villagers take many hardships in educating his brother, koti(sudhakar) a doctor by promising that he will serve the village.
However, after becoming a doctor, his brother gets attracted to city life and falls for a rich girl, rupa(madhavi) and plans to settle there.
Ramudu ows in front of village that he won’t marry his love seeta(kavita) until his brother returns to the village.
He is insulted and kicked out of the house by rupa’s father prataprao(kanta rao) and ramudu decides to kidnap rupa to his village to bring his brother backThe rest of the story forms on how ramudu keeps up his word to his village by changing his brother and bringing him back to his village.
A pretty average movie which has nothing special to talk about and it was a rising period for chiranjeevi to prove himself.
