Last film of Chiranjeevi under Creative Commercials banner, which produced numerous adaptations of Yamdamoori’s novels.
This time Yandamoori himself handles the megaphone, but fails to deliver the goods.
A good story written by him, is poorly presented. The main plot and purpose of the story was lost in promoting Heroism.Inspector RanaPratap(chiru) comes to Stuartpuram, a place well known for theives of all varieties.
He starts reforming each of them, by showing them a better way to live.His real intention is to cleanup the entire town, where once upon a time his father was also a theif.
His father was trapped by few big-wigs in town into a robbery case, accusing him of stealing ornaments from temple.
Unable to bear this insult and torture, his parents commit suicide, and young Ranapratap decides to become a Police and cleanup the place by pricking out the root causes behind this problem.
He is assisted by colleague Vijayasanthi and a girl next door, Nirosha.
With their help, ranapratap manages to dig the closed ornaments robbery case, and catch the real culprit(babumohan).
The original novel is more interesting and gripping than the screenplay of this movie.Yandamoori also messesup in characterization.
Average music by Illayaraja doesn’t help.
