Ranganath and Chandra Mohan are heroes in this film.
Chiranjeevi did a villany role as sadistic son-in-law of the lead pair Satynarayana and Janaki.
He has no dialogues and will be shown in small dance clip and torturing his wife.
After that she commits suicide.
His role comes in the last 2 minutes of the film and it is the basis why Satyanarayana and Janaki help other families.
After becoming megastar, Chiranjeevi has mentioned many times about this movie and its producer who gave him no remuneration but only a fan as a gift for dancing in a song and this fan made so much noise that never allowed him to sleep properly.
Chiru still has that fan with him !
