After being elected as MLA from tirupati in last year may, Chiranjeevi has hardly spent time with his constituency people but now he has something exciting to claim credit for.
As many as eight new trains have been introduced for Tirupati in the railway budget presented by Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday. They include: Tirupati-Coimbatore intercity express via Salem (Tri-weekly), Tirupati-Madurai Express (bi-weekly), Tirupati-Bangalore Intercity express (tri-weekly), Tirupati-Secunderabad Express (bi-weekly) via Pakala-Madanapalle, Hyderabad –Tirupati express, Tirupati-Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj terminus, Tirupati-Kurabakota passenger and Tirupati-Chennai passenger. Besides, a tourist train — Pune-Ratnagiri-Goa-Bangalore-Mysore-Tirupati-Pune, also covers the temple town.
Interestingly, it was only a couple of days ago that Chiranjeevi wrote to Mamata Banerjee to introduce new trains. Now, he can claim credit for securing so many trains for the temple town
