Chiranjeevi is learning tricks of the trade quickly as congress leader.
When two of his men, Ghanta Srinivasa Rao and C Ramachandraiah were sworn in as state cabinet ministers yesterday, they were given portfolios where they don’t have much work to do.
Infact, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy tried to make them dummy ministers.
But by evening, chiranjeevi managed to get their portfolios changed and got what they wanted.
While Ganta Srinivasa Rao was rewarded with the portfolio of Commercial Taxes, C Ramachandraiah was allocated the portfolio of power.
After getting these departments under their control, many congress leaders are now considering chiranjeevi as an influential leader in their party.
But, chiranjeevi is not 100% satisfied with this result, as he feels that atleast one of his men from telangana should have been included in yesterday’s cabinet expansion.
He wanted Balkonda(nizamabad) MLA Anil also to be included into caninet but congress high command limited the expansion to only two members.
Now chiranjeevi is confident of achieving more nominated posts for rest of his group leaders and also a rajyasabha seat and union cabinet ministry for himself soon.
